Excitement as new students arrive campus, commence registration

Monday, September 03, 2007, was a day of joy and fulfillment of dreams for newly admitted students and their parents as the freshmen commenced formal registration and other academic activities in Covenant University aka Hebron- the birthplace of kings and queens.

 

2007/2008 Academic Session kicks off with great expectations on Friday

Activities marking the commencement of 2007/2008 academic session of Covenant University kicked-off on Friday, August 31, 2007 with great expectations having members of the University management and faculty/staff appreciate God for His awesome help during last academic session, while strategizing for the success of the new session.

 

CU Second Convocation Kicks Off

Activities marking the second convocation ceremony of Covenant University kick-off on Monday, July 16, 2007 in a three-pronged programme. These are special University Assembly in the morning, World Press Conference, addressed by the Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo in the afternoon and serenade evening that witnessed Special Gospel Concept.

 

NUC Executive Secretary Pays Visit to CU

The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Professor Julius Okojie has praised Covenant University for its achievements, saying that the University had done more than Harvard did during the first century of its existence.

 

CU signs copyright agreement

Covenant University has blazed the trail in becoming the first University in Nigeria to sign reproduction agreement with the Reproduction Right Society of Nigeria (REPRONIG), a collecting society for Nigerian Copyright Commission.

Towards A Total Graduate (TTG) programme kicks off

The Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo has inaugurated this year’s Towards A Total Graduate (TTG) programme of the University for the graduating class of 2007. The event took place on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the University Cafeteria 2.

 

CU Hosts Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar

Between May 16 and 18, 2007, Covenant University had the privilege of playing host to some of the greatest Christian leaders of our time, including of the Charismatic Worldwide Movement and Dr Creflo Dollar of the World Changers Church International, USA.

 

CU partners New Horizon, Commissions ICT Certification Laboratory

Covenant University has further consolidated its lead as an ICT-driven University in the country with the recent launch of a world class, state-of-the-arts ICT Certification Laboratory at the University’s College of Science and Technology.
