11th Fulbright Alumni Conference: CU Hosts The National Executive Committee
Covenant University will be hosting the National Executive Committee of the Fulbright Alumni Association of Nigeria (FAAN)
The visit, according to the FAAN National President, Dr. Raymond Bako, is a familiarization visit to the University in preparation for the 11th National Conference of the Fulbright Alumni in Nigeria, the first of its kind in any private university in the country. The Conference, with the theme, Multiculturalism, Citizenship and National Integration in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects, is scheduled for September 10th to 13th in Covenant University.
The familiarization visit will see the team inspecting facilities for the Conference, including the accommodation and cafeteria facilities as well as the venues for the plenary sessions and for the opening and closing ceremonies. The delegation will further pay a courtesy call on the University Management led by the Chief Host of the Conference, Professor Aize Obayan, the University’s Vice Chancellor.
The 9-man National Executive Committee will also have Executive Meetings and deliberations with the University Chapter of the Fulbright Alumni as well as the Local Organizing Committee to put finishing touches to the Conference preparations.
