Summary of Profile

Dr Omotosho Temidayo Victor received Ph.D Physics under Professor C.O Oluwafemi (Satellite to ground Radiowave Propagation) in June 2008 at Covenant University, Master’s of Technology in Physics (Satellite to ground Radiowave Propagation) and Bachelor of Technology (Physics Electronics) in Physics from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State Nigeria, in 1997 and 2003, respectively. He is currently a lecturer two in the Department of Physics College of Science and Technology Covenant University Ota Ogun State Nigeria. Between 2000 and 2004 he was with the department of Physics, Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria where he serve as a graduate assistance and also rose to the position of an assistance lecturer under Professor M.O Ajewole, a Professor of communication Physics. He has a wealth of experience in using in-situ and satellite observation of meteorological data such as ESA, JAXA, NASA, ITU, NOAA etc . These works have been published in high impact Journals and presented in many conferences on the effect of different types of propagation impairment on millimetre and microwave signals such as: Cloud, Atmospheric gas, Rain, Tropospheric scintillation, Satellite remote sensing, Ozone variability, Climatic parameters and Climate change. He has a very good knowledge of Computer programming in Fortran, GrAD, Matlab, C and Microsoft excel programming and visualization of large scientific data (such as Grib, hdf, netCDF, sdf e.t.c) assimilation analysis. He is a member Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineer (Antenna and propagation, communication, Remote sensing and Microwave Circuit groups), American Geophysical Union ( Radio science Group, USA), Nigeria institute of Physics (NIP) and Nigeria Union of Radio Science. He is happily married and blessed with children.
