Summary of Profile
Charles Ogbulogo, PhD, Professor of English trained at the Universities of Calabar and Lagos in Nigeria. He started his academic career at the University of Lagos where he taught for about 18 years before joining Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota Nigeria in 2005.
At Covenant University, Professor Ogbulogo has served as Head, Department of English, Dean, College of Human Development and Chair of a number of Committees. He served until recently as Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University. He is currently serving as Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies. He has had the privilege of studying visionary leadership principles and practice under the Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr David Oyedepo. He has also deepened his knowledge of the operations of the University under the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aize Obayan.
Professor Ogbulogo has published articles in different aspects of English, Linguistics and Communication. He has also presented Keynote addresses and lead papers at different fora.He has had a fulfilling experience in consultancy. He belongs to a number of professional and academic associations.
Professor Ogbulogo is a practising Christian with the experience of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit .A life member of the Bible Society of Nigeria; Professor Charles Ogbulogo was nominated for ordination as a Deacon of the Living Faith Church. He is happily married to Nkechi and they are blessed with four children.
