RESEARCH CLUSTERS

Research clusters’ works cut across Nigerian societal needs:

1. Bioinformatics and Malaria Parasite group – Probably, the best research team on bioinformatics and malaria parasite study in Nigeria today.
 They are in collaboration with some German researchers, work is at advanced stage of malaria parasite control.

2. Renewable Energy

 Four research clusters are working on:

 - Artificial hydro electric power generation

 - Development of solar cell from ultra

 - Pure silica deposit in Nigeria

 - Development of Bio-fuel and Biodiesel from Nigerian oil seeds and sea weeds

 - Improved Battery Technology

3. ICT and Electronics

 e - voting Machine development

 e - health hospital care management system

 e - domestic Equipment power management control system

4. Food and Chemical Products Development

 - Formulation of various health food products and Processors

 - Development of variety of Domestic Chemical products

5. Transportation

 - Renewable Energy Automobile Research

 - Electronic Vehicle License renewal Policing module (developed but under test)

6. Political Stability Research
