Research Interests

My research interest includes; coping patterns, self-esteem and risk attitude of vulnerable individuals before, during and after a traumatic life events. I equally interested in studying adolescents developmental challenges in the area of academics, drug use and sexual behaviour.

Summary of Profile

My academic career commenced at the Covenant University, where I was appointed Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Development (now Department of Psychology) in September 2004. I obtained a Ph.D in the Department of Psychology in 2008 and rose to the position of Associate Professor in 2015. I have served as the Chairman of committees such as Ceremonies as well as Postgraduate. I am presently a member of College Seminar Committee. I have over thirty publications in both local and international journals.
