The anaerobic bioremediation of raw and treated hydrocarbon polluted water samples using Aspergillus niger and Pseudomonas aeruginosa has been investigated. The rate of bioremediation of the two polluted water samples was nearly the same as it took 65 days for effective bioremediation to occur with both microbes.
