Dr Ayotunde Etchie is a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Covenant University. She obtained a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry in 2006, M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degrees in Environmental Chemistry and Pollution Control in 2009 and 2016 respectively, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has worked as an independent researcher with collaborators from CSIR-NEERI Nagpur, India; INCLEN Trust New Delhi, India; and University of California, USA. Her research interests include environmental pollution, pollutants' transport, human exposure and health impact assessment; climate change and health. She has research publications in internationally renown journals like; Bulletin of the World Health Organization, Water Research, Environment International, among others.
