Comparative analysis of electrochemical corrosion behavior and inhibition of 2101 duplex and 301 austenitic stainless steel in 4-cyanobenzene/6M H2SO4 solution
Corrosion inhibition effect of 4-cyanobenzene on 2101 duplex (2101SS) and 301 austenitic (301SS) stainless steels was studied by potentiodynamic polarization, corrosion potential measurement, optical microscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. The results showed the compound to be effective with inhibition efficiency of 98.75 % and 99.54 % for both steels. Corrosion potential of 2101SS and 301SS...
