Summary of Profile
Dr. Akin Mike Okedoye graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, where he obtained B. Tech Mathematics. Immediately after his youth corp service, he proceeded on his postgraduate program and obtained M. Tech and Ph.D degrees in applied mathematics in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He also win certain awards such as Federal Government Postgraduate Scholarship, African Mathematics Millennium Science Initiative Scholarship in 2001 and 2005 respectively. His Ph.D Thesis was rated best by Nigeria Mathematical Society analysis of Doctoral Thesis in 2008. He joined LAUTECH Ogbomoso as an assistant lecturer in March 2004 and rose to position of lecturer 1. His area of specialisation are: Numerical Computation, Mathematical Modelling, Fluid Mechanics, Biomathematics and Theory of Combustion. Dr. Okedoye has published more than thirty(30) articles both in local and international journals, he also attended several and presented papers in conferences. He is now a senior Lecturer at department of Computer and Information Science.
