Summary of Profile

Dr. Adedapo Adewunmi Oluwatayo had her Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Architecture (BSc. & MSc.) respectively from University of Jos, Plateau State. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Covenant University, Ota. She is presently a lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. Shortly before joining the University she worked with the Covenant University Project Phase III. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and a fully registered member of Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
She currently teaches Introduction to Architectural Professional Practice, Building Structures, Research Methods, Literature in Architecture, Current Thesis Review and Acoustics; and coordinates the Architectural Design Studio and Thesis for the Masters Programme. She also supervises students’ projects at the undergraduate (BSc) and post-graduate degree (MSc and PhD) levels. Her research interest is architectural professional practice and Architectural Education.She was the Acting Head of the Department of Architecture from August 2018 to January 2021.
