Covenant University is a private Pentecostal Christian University, which has been operating with official status since 2002 in Ota, Nigeria. 

Covenant University is one of the leading universities in Africa found on Christian Mission Ethos. It has the vision to raise a new generation of leaders and reinstate the black race's dignity. The university has four colleges, primarily dedicated towards vocational studies: The College of Business and Social Sciences; College of Leadership and Development Studies; College of Engineering, and the College of Science and Technology.

Facilities at Covenant University include its extensive three-story library, known as the Centre for Learning Resources. In addition, the ten halls of residence on campus can accommodate over 9,000 students.

Degree programmes at Covenant University are all-encompassing. The University has developed custom-built courses. These are to specially package the student and deliver him to his world upon graduation as an agent of change. Students are set to take charge of their environment and break the barriers of limitation confronting our nation and the continent at large. The custom-built courses include Towards a Total Graduate (TTG), Entrepreneurial Development Studies (EDS), Total Man Concept (TMC), and Leadership Development. Students who complete the Leadership Development course will receive a certificate (CLD).
