He made this pronouncement at the Opening Assembly of the University today, at the University Chapel. In his remarks, he welcomed all returning students back to Campus, and encouraged them to embrace the new Academic Session with excitement, so they can enjoy the challenges of their new level.

He appreciated God for a successful change of levels and class for the students; adding that that the past session was great, but the new session will be greater, more colourful and more glorious.

He admonished them to ensure to attend classes regularly and take their studies very seriously.  He also encouraged them to attend chapel services regularly and join a service unit where they can serve God while on campus.

Moreover, he added that they will not only achieve great academic feats this session, but will be celebrated worldwide, as part of the achievements of the University.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Ag Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Igban, advised the Returning Students to quickly settle down for the current academic session, noting that the beginning of the semester is very crucial to their academic success and should be taken seriously. He prayed for   a glorious time for them ahead.
