Professor Adebayo Advises Students to Shun Examination Malpractices

With just days to the commencement of the 2022/2023 Alpha Semester examination at Covenant University, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo, has counselled students of the university to work with members of the faculty and staff to stamp out all forms of examination misconduct.

Professor Adebayo gave the advice during the closing session of the University’s Tuesday Chapel Service. According to him, "We cannot work assiduously to eradicate other vices from the University and allow examination malpractices to have their way on this ground. We have zero tolerance for any form of examination misconduct, and we are resolute not to allow any form of sharp practices in our academic processes," he stated.

Professor Adebayo asked the students to become checks on themselves, as that will be the starting point in entrenching academic integrity in Covenant. Professor Adebayo encouraged the students to commit themselves to their study, fulfil all requirement that is expected of them, eschew every form of exam vices and the help that is expected of God will be released to crown their effort.

The Alpha Semester Examination at Covenant University will run from Monday, January 30 through Saturday, February 18, 2023.
