A team from United Bank for Africa (UBA) paid a courtesy visit to the management of Covenant University and expressed gratitude for the university's patronage over the years, promising to expand the boundaries of its unique banking experience with the university.

The Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Regents, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, has posited that success in life will remain a mirage without the force of discipline. 

The National Universities Commission accreditation team led by Professor Osita Meludu has commended the department and university management for quality investment in the programme, noting the team was impressed with a clear-cut and well-crafted programme philosophy and objectives after 48 hours of comprehensive scrutiny of the academic and resource available in the Department of Physics.

A delegation from Nigeria’s university regulatory body, the National Universities Commission (NUC), on accreditation assignment to four programmes at Covenant University has begun their certification inquest into the viability and compliance status of the four programmes.

Accreditation visits are all about peer review to better position academic programmes in all institutions of learning. This was the position of the team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on the accreditation exercise for the Industrial Physics programme at Covenant University on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Students of the Department of Sociology, Covenant University, Ota, experienced a paradigm shift during a recent Town and Gown Seminar of the department, where an outstanding Alumnus, Miss Aderinsola Omirin, was the Guest Speaker, with a presentation titled, ‘Sociological Tips for Start-Ups and Brand Building.’

An Alumnus of Covenant University, Mr. Faith Abang   has posited that sociologists have a foundation to be able to function in any capacity in the real world.

The latest 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings has shown that research is a strong point of Covenant University. A cursory look at the ranking parameters indicates that Covenant is leading all Nigerian universities in research and currently ranks 562 globally.
